Key Contributors Toward Panthers Playoff Chances

The Panthers' playoff chances improving will most likely depend on Bryce Young, but with veteran quarterback Andy Dalton returning, some of the pressure comes off of Young. Especially with Carolina adding more offensive weapons. The Panthers retained key players like WR David Moore and TE Tommy Tremble, in addition to g WR Hunter Renfrow and RB Rico Dowdle. Carolina also used the draft to build around Young, using their first-round pick on Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan and selecting TE Mitchell Evans in the fifth round.

Carolina's defense is expected to improve significantly after allowing 3,000 rushing yards in 2024, the first team to do so since 1980.
